Captain Chris- I wanted to thank you for such an incredible experience. The entire process of booking, to meeting you, learning about the boat, and the picture perfect sunset followed with an incredible moon could not have been any better. Your balance of Boston History paired boating knowledge was a perfect blend. Chris and I both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I have already passed your information along to several of our friends.
You can be certain we will be back again.

Thanks for taking us out. We had a great time sailing and it got us both excited to start the restoration on our 1957 Lyman boat, so we can get back out on the water soon. You're a great guide and I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a new way to explore Boston.

I apologize for the delay in responding. Our wedding is THIS weekend, believe it or not, and so the planning and the busy-ness of it all have come upon us very suddenly. I have been meaning to write you since last week, to say again what a pleasure it was finally meeting you in person, and your wonderful wife as well.
We so thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and definitely plan to be back for anniversary sails every year :)

charter. You really made the day wonderful and I can't thank you
enough. Even Mom, who was really reluctant to sail in the first place,
had a great time and commented on how smooth and enjoyable the trip
was.
Pretty awesome. Granted, I did go sailing on a beautiful day so that made the experience phenomenal, but it would have been enjoyable on an ok day too.
Captain Chris does all the work sailing a small friendship sloop and lets you join in as much or as little as you'd like. The boat is beautiful and provides enough room for 6 guests to sit comfortably. The sail itself was wonderful and seemingly unplanned - it was nice to just go where the boat takes you.
Reasonably priced for what is offered - definitely worth it.
Just got back from the 4 hour sail that turned into a 6 hours sail around Boston Harbor for no extra charge. Captain Chris showed us around the inner and outer harbor, made a stop at Spectacle Island and gave us a little lesson in sailing. Could not have asked for more or a better time. It is limited, maximum of 6 people, but it is truly an enjoyable way to spend a day. Captain Chris does have some amenities, but we brought everything we needed for the lunch and afternoon sail. Highly recommend this if you're looking for a relaxing time and you will not be disappointed.
I cannot begin to tell you how much we all enjoyed sailing with you last night. You out did yourself in ordering the weather ... it was P E R F E C T! The scenery was wonderful and we loved feeling like we were the only souls on the harbor last night. You really made our 37th Anniversary very special. What more could one ask ... sky, sea, wonderful husband, children, family and new friend sharing a beautiful sunset and evening! We so appreciate all the time that you gave to us and your wonderful stories about your beautiful sloop and more. Thank you for being so kind and helpful with our son Ben and his new adventure in sailing. You were very kind to tell him he could contact you with any questions. Please also extend a warm thank you to your lovely wife, Cheryl. She is a great first mate! Thank you just doesn't seem to express just how wonderful the Duchess of Boston is and our perfect sunset sail.

" We were in Boston just for a few days this summer. It was fabulous but hot. What better way to enjoy Boston than a sail in the famous harbor? We called Captain Chris. Got a quick, positive response, and before we knew it, we were on a beautifully restored Friendship Sloop gliding over the water. He's a great captain, a great host and a fun guy to spend the afternoon with. We brought a picnic lunch of goodies from the North End....good wine, good food, good sailing. Perfect!"
